how do you ask someone you're dating if they're "clean" or have been tested? i mean, it is important. it shouldn't really distort your feelings towards them unless, of course, they had something. but i mean do you want to know? or you don't want to know but should know?
serioussssssss topic. but it came up one day. thoughts?

thanks marc. =) just a thought that popped in my head anyhoo. anyone else? make appointments people?
i got my annual check! holla. everything's GOOD. haha. i suggest you do the same thing. it doesn't hurt to know. unless it's bad news. =I
Those are some pretty legit scenarios Marc.. I'm nodding my head in agreement. Haven't met a new dude yet.. or had anything something close to being serious to have this situation come up.. but I would want to know.. especially before we started messin' around. Surprises are nice but not in this shitiation.. incase it ended up being shit. Haha
I'm getting checked next Friidaaaay, holla!
the "story" scenario
- tell them a crazy story about how your friend caught something cause they're bf/gf didn't get checked!
cons: better hope he never meets this 'friend' in case he asks about the white lie.
the "interview" scenario
- introduce a close friend. excuse yourself to the bathroom. close friend interviews guy/gal, including "are you clean? when did you get tested?"
the "check up" scenario
- meet up. mention that you can't stay long cause you need to get your quarterly check up. ask if he does that also. provide proof :)
the "truth" scenario
- self explanatory.
i would want to know. might not like what i hear. better to be safe than sorry. btw, i need to get checked. dun dun duunnnn!
